ROLE:
Creative Director
HISTORY:
I grew up literally right around the corner from here. A little subdivision on SR 238 just EAST of Cumberland was home to me. When I graduated from Anderson University is a little fuzzy. It was either DEC of 2003 or MAY of 2004. I have a diploma. That’s what counts. Angie and I met at the pool at Anderson Univ. then were married in August of 2003. Not sure why, but she still keeps me around for some reason. We joined the Crosspoint launch team on a HUGE leap of faith. I left a job as a worship leader at a church in Indianapolis in January 2007 to focus my efforts on the “arts of XPT” as a volunteer. I joined the Crosspoint staff full time in March of 2008. I get really sweaty doing what I do for Crosspoint… it’s gorss but, I love it!
We’ve adopted three times. First, our 40 lb. Beagle/Shepherd Charlie was rescued in Feb. 2008. Then, in May 2009, we adopted our son Isaac into our family. He has turned our lives upside down. He’s caused his mother sleepless nights and his father some panicy days. And, most recently, on February 12, 2012 our sweet little Eloise was blessed to our family. We waited a long time to meet her, but she was worth every minute of the wait. The joy these children have brought into our family is truly a gift from GOD. They were shaped specifically for us. And, we love having them as part of us. (*Disclaimer – Angie and I are open books when it comes to our adoption stories. If at any time you have questions or just want to talk to someone about the joys and struggles adoption brings, feel free to contact me.)
I’ve heard the worship at Crosspoint described as a blend of Coldplay, David Crowder* Band, and AC/DC. We enjoy the irony in that statement! Worship should be more than just going through the motions. It should be something you connect to. Something that connects you to GOD… and GOD to us. There are few opportunities where more beautiful connection happens for groups of people… then we get to take it with us when we go!

If it involves a musical instrument (minus the drums), I’ll have my hands in it.
