 HISTORY: Curt and I have been married for 12 years and I think I am the luckiest person in the world. We have four kids, Macy, Matt, Maggie, and Meredith. They are all incredibly different from one another and I LOVE that about them! Our family’s favorite thing to do is spend time together. We laugh A LOT! We are never short on after dinner entertainment… dancing, playing games, karaoke, and reading books. Our favorite vacation spot is Disney World. Macy has been 10 times and is ready to go again! Currently, I am a part-time, second grade teacher. I job share alongside another teacher with three kids of her own. Starting Crosspoint was something I would have never imagined when we were dating. I actually tried to talk Curt into being an oral surgeon or an orthodontist in college. Who knew that God had a much better plan for our lives? It has been an amazing ride! Becoming the Director of Crosspoint’s Children’s Environments was actually on my "things to never do" list :-) As a teacher and a mom, being a "kid’s director" wasn’t on the top of my list for an additional job, but God had a different plan for me and I LOVE IT! It has been so rewarding to take my experience as a teacher, my love for kids, as well as my love for GOD, and bring them all together. It could've only happened here. How cool is that? CURRENTLY LISTENING TO: Radio Disney & my kids singing along! CURRENTLY READING: Picture books ... no, seriously ... with three kids, I do read a lot of them! My favorites are: "Have You Filled a Bucket Today?" - Carol McCloud "You Can Do It" - Tony Dungy TV SHOWS THAT I'M ADDICTED TO: Letterman, American Idol, Access Hollywood, True Beauty, and things my family DVRs MOVIES I COULD WATCH ON REPEAT: Anything funny. Truth of the matter is, the family will get on these kicks where we watch the same movie over and over and over. Christmas Vacation, Elf, & Kung Fu Panda have all had recent runs. THREE FOODS I'D DIE FOR: 1. Chocolate 2. Peanut Butter ... Maybe I should put these together... 3. Almost anything Curt cooks, especially if it has shrimp! WEBSITES I FREQUENT: 252basics.org, msnbc.com, eonline.com, faceebook WHEN I GET FREE TIME, I LIKE TO: Spend time with my family, Pilates (we have a love/hate relationship), work on my laptop, go bike riding with my "peeps," jog (when I can), read magazines (Family Fun, People, Wondertime), eat food that Curt cooks (he could be a chef), and dance with my kiddos :-) Oh, and go to Disney, but not at Christmas. 3 OTHER JOBS I'VE HAD: 1. Surgical Assistant for an oral surgeon 2. Janitor 3. Secretary FAVORITE TEAMS: The Colts & any team my kids play for.
